Remote purchase of Entry Tickets and Products

1. Entry tickets and products can be purchased in advance via An offer from the purchaser is deemed to have been made if the purchaser has fully completed the order form and sent it electronically to Van Gogh & Rembrandt in Amsterdam by clicking on 'confirm order'. The agreement between the purchaser and Van Gogh & Rembrandt in Amsterdam is established at the moment we have sent a booking confirmation to the purchaser by e-mail.

2. Payments for online purchases must be made by means of one of the payment modules (including iDeal) as offered from time to time by the payment provider of Van Gogh & Rembrandt in Amsterdam. Payment is subject to the general terms and conditions of the relevant bank and payment module.

3. A right of withdrawal applies to products pursuant to the Distance Selling Act. This means that the purchaser has the right to dissolve the contract relating to these online purchases without giving reasons within 14 days of receiving the products ordered. To do so, the visitor should send an e-mail to The Rijksmuseum will credit the purchase price within 30 days of receiving the e-mail.

4. No right of withdrawal shall apply to other online purchases, including the purchase of admission tickets. Pursuant to Article 6:230p sub e of the Dutch Civil Code, the right of withdrawal from the Distance Selling Act does not apply to leisure services if the agreement provides for a specific time or period of performance.

5. If you are unable to visit the exhibition at the time you have chosen, you can request an alternative time up to 7 days prior to your chosen time. Please contact us by email or telephone.

6. Van Gogh & Rembrandt in Amsterdam is not obliged to refund an unused Entrance Ticket. The above also applies if we have been unable to find another suitable time for you.
