  • Bank details, such as IBAN and account number (if a performance is booked and paid for via the Website)

Security

We take appropriate security measures to limit misuse of and unauthorised access to your personal data. For example, we ensure that only the necessary persons have access to the data, that access to the data is protected and that our security measures are checked regularly.

How long we keep personal data

Van Gogh & Rembrandt in Amsterdam does not store personal data for longer than is necessary for the purposes mentioned above. Exceptions to this are data that we must keep for longer because the law requires us to do so. The retention period for personal data depends on the purposes for which the personal data is used.

Personal data relating to your order account or other accounts on the Website will be deleted within three months after you delete your account. Personal data relating to your newsletter subscription will be deleted or aggregated after six months after you unsubscribe (the data are then no longer traceable).

Personal data relating to making a reservation, requesting inspection or requesting access to the collection will either be deleted or converted to aggregated (non-reducible) data after three months, so that the data can be used for analytical and statistical research.

Payment data: this data is processed for tax purposes and should therefore be kept for seven years.

To whom we provide personal data

We do not pass on personal details to third parties, with the exception of processors engaged by us for the storage, management and maintenance of the Website, as well as the facilities offered on it, such as the online purchase of a reserved show. Adequate processor agreements are in place between Van Gogh & Rembrandt in Amsterdam BV and these processors, which include a confidentiality clause. Van Gogh & Rembrandt in Amsterdam's processors may not process personal details for other purposes.

In some cases we are legally obliged to disclose certain personal details to third parties. For example, it is possible that the police may request data from us in the context of a fraud investigation. In that case, we are legally obliged to hand over this data.

All other data of yours that is processed on the Website will be deleted if the processing thereof is no longer necessary
